I have been drawing longer than I could write. So it only makes sense that when I started writing, I also started drawing letters. Lettering inspiration can be found all over, from old ads and movie title cards to carnivals and graffiti. Hand lettering has been around for centuries. The signs, billboards, chalkboards, and hand lettered illustrations that I have had the joy to work on draw upon that rich history.
